Elexity is seeking a results-driven Energy Solutions Sales Manager to accelerate our growth in the commercial and industrial (C&I) market. You will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying and developing key accounts, closing project leads, delivering technical and business solutions, and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new energy project developer, installer and EPC accounts within the US C&I solar and energy storage market segment.
- Relationship Management: Manage key accounts by developing productive relationships from C-level and ownership to business development, engineering and execution teams within accounts.
- Sales: Maximize project leads and close opportunities. Manage pricing, quoting, and terms to meet the account and related project needs.
- Technical Consultant: Be a credible and trusted energy advisor to present and deliver the right technical and economic solutions to customers. Understand current market policies and economic use cases for behind the meter energy storage solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of proven success selling energy storage solutions specifically within the C&I market in the United States.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to fluently discuss and present economic analysis of project opportunities and the competitive value propositions of our EMS platform.
- Analytical Skills: Able to confidently present and explain financial models.
- Software Skills: Proficiency with HubSpot CRM for pipeline management. Experience with energy project modelling tools is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100k/yr or more salary based on experience
- Commission: $100k/yr or more commission potential. No cap.
- Equity: Participation in the Elexity employee stock option plan.
